Governor George Natembeya this afternoon was officially installed as the deputy party leader of DAP-K during a ceremony in Kitale, led by party leader Eugene Wamalwa.

In his inaugural speech, Natembeya expressed gratitude to the party leadership for their faith in him and pledged unwavering efforts to bolster the party’s national presence in anticipation of upcoming elections.

He emphasized that strengthening political parties is crucial for fortifying democratic spaces within the country.

Natembeya stated, “Being appointed and confirmed as the DAP-K deputy Party Leader by the unanimous decision of the entire DAP-K Leadership is a great honor. I am dedicated to nurturing the party’s growth from the grassroots upwards and ensuring democratic principles guide its decision-making process.”
