Cabinet Secretary for Land, housing and Urban Development Alice Wahome has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Center for Innovative Governance Research Doing Business as the Charter Cities Institute represented by Mr. Kurtis Lockhart, Executive Director CCI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering new cities with better governance to lift tens of millions of people out of poverty and help achieve increased economic growth and new jobs.
CCI will Support the implementation of sustainable urbanization programs in selected secondary cities and small towns in Kenya. She was accompanied by Principal Secretary Mr. Charles Hinga.
