147 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total number to 1,618 infections in Kenya.
According to CS Health Mutahi Kagwe they tested 2831 samples in the last 24 hours out of which 147 tested positive.
“90 are from Nairobi,41 Mombasa, 3 Kiambu, 2 Nyeri, 2 Uasin Gishu,” Kagwe said.
He said 13 new recoveries have been reported bringing the total number of recoveries to 421.
Mutahi further said that 3 deaths have also been reported.
