Muslim Cleric Want Drug Test Conducted on Students and Teachers

North Rift Council of Imams and Muslim Preachers of Kenya chairman Sheikh Abubakar Bini now wants teachers and students to be tested on drug abuse.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town Bini said this will help the school management to know whether the s they are abusing the drugs or not.
“Through drug use testing , this will ensure that teachers and students are drug-free and will also help build values and virtues amongst the students thus securing theirr future,” said the North Rift Council of Imams and Muslim Preachers of Kenya chairman.
He further said the tests should not only be done in boarding but also in day schools.
Bini said thye support the CS Education George Magoha sentiments of not allowing students gay and lesbian students in schools.
“We support the move by the CS Education of not allowing gay and lesbian students in boarding schools since thye will influence other students behaviors
On the other hand, the Muslim clergy said parents have failed their mandate of bringing up their children living their mandate to teachers.
“It sad that parents only concentrate on politics rather than taking care of their children leading to most of them misbehaving. Parents should take their mandate seriously if thye want their children to be good people in the future,” he said.

Statistics indicate that more than 9 million women and girls have undergone FGM in Kenya.Such number is not pleasing at all!
During and after FGM initiation, the initiator experiences bleeding in excess rate which puts the woman at high risk of getting anemia which can lead to death.
Such cuttings experienced by women can at last lead to cervical cancer which has claimed many lives.
Women who have undergone FGM are at risk of contracting Fistula disease which makes a woman peaceless denying her hapinness.
While giving the birth majority of them struggle, while other lose their lives since the baby is not able to come out, while other undergo an operation for the same.
Domestic violence is not far from rising in the family because this woman has low or lack sexual arouse as the sensitive organ within her has been cut leading to cheating.
This era we are living in now is modern time has reached for us all as a society to condemn in one voice to end the FGM, it is negative traditions.Let us save our daughters and girls’ future.
