I Will Continue Empowering My Constituents Through His ‘Maendeleo na Uwezeshaji’ Program- Kesses MP Dr Swarup Mishra
Kesses member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra has continued to empower youths, people with disability, and women finally under the program ‘ maendeleo na Uwezeshaji’ which means Development and Empowerment
According to the Kesses legislator, this is the only way that will make the said group be independent financially.
“It’s in this light that we have been reaching out and working together with Kesses Constituents to ensure we achieve our development goals as we empower every homestead. This started with investing in women and youths who have the energy, insights, and spine to bring change, be the change and offer sustainable solutions to challenges at the grassroots level,” said the Kesses legislator.
He spoke after engaging with the youths and women from Lorien and Koiluget villages in Tarakwa Ward where he heard heartwarming testimonies of how lives have been transformed as families can now live fulfilling lives and that’s his pride as a leader.
The Kesses legislator reiterated that he is indebted to improving the economy of residents most of them have been badly affected by the effects of coronavirus.
“I have an overarched feeling that we owe our people. We are indebted to bring back sanity to our economy. An economy and livelihoods ravaged by the ripple effect of Covid-19. We simply owe them. This is is the reason, I don’t tire of giving a hand to my constituents. I listen to their request so that we can agree on what to prioritize in tandem with my “MAENDELEO NA UWEZESHAJI” program,” he said.
The Kesses legislator empowered youths in Annex motorbikes to BODABODA operators, Barbershop & Salon Equipment, and Executive Shoeshine booths to the youth, Product-Stock to Mama 2022 can only get Better!
The Kesses has also called on residents to embrace peace ahead of this coming electioneering period.
“I want to call upon Uasin Gishu residents to embrace peace before, during, and after the forthcoming elections. Youths don’t be allowed to be used by politicians to cause violence, let us embrace peace since elections are just a one-day affair,” said the Kesses legislator.
The Kesses legislator is among the best performing members of parliament who has empowered youths, people with disability, and women financially.
