Be among the people who are driven by their dreams as opposed to those who are pushed by their problems
The company is different. People who are intrinsically driven are inspired. They’re hungry and they go at life with zeal. Being in their midst is electrifying. They want to hear your dreams and help you achieve them.
The vocabulary of jealousy and backstabbing is non existent there. When you succeed at something they feel honestly challenged and inspired. They celebrate with you because as a member of their group you’ve made them proud.
People who are externally pushed by necessities, on the other hand, are heavy and resistant. They complain about every inconvenience and they try to do bare minimum just to get by. They’re envious and they hate it when your dreams make them uncomfortable. They interpret your aspirations as impossible or impractical and they discourage you from pursuing them.
It’s your sole responsibility to pick and choose who to be around.
