Former Mpesa Lady turns Kes 1300 investment into Kes 6 million, buys land, cars and builds house for her parents. This is how she did it.
My name is Florence Wambua a young online entrepreneur. My life story is that of struggle. Having been brought in the slums where affording two meal a day was considered a luxury. My parents used to do odd jobs at least to put food on the table. After completing high school i was unable to continue with my studies because of lack of school fees. With my parents and siblings looking up to i had to looking for work and that how i got a job as Mpesa lady in town.
During that time i used to engage with all type of clients. There was this young guy who used to drive a sleek Mercedes benz and he used to transact huge sums of money everyday from our shop. He was just 25 years old and i kept wondering what kind of job such a young guy was doing to earn him that much money.
