Kesses MP sponsors Walter Lusiola to Pursue his Secondary Education


Kesses member of parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra has promised to sponsor Walter Lusiola from Racecourse to pursue his secondary education.

Lusiola who comes from a poor background did his KCPE at Racecourse Primary school and was unable to join form one due to lack of school fees.

“After hearing the touching story of Walter Lusiola I have decided to sponsor his secondary education and if he will perform well and join University I also continue with my sponsorship,” said the Kesses legislator.

Dr. Mishra reiterated his commitment to ensuring that all students access education no matter their financial background noting education is the only equalizer between the rich and the poor.

“Not only does education position a generation for greatness; but it also creates a more civilized, informed, enlightened and an awaken society of leaders with the right attitude and robust manpower. In tandem with my 2017 campaign pledge on education, my quest to support learners and learning institutions continues to remain undeterred as we seek to boost literacy levels in Kesses Constituency,” the Kesses legislator said.

“As I had promised during the electioneering period my aim is to ensure that no student no matter his or her financial background stay at home due to lack of school fees. I ensure that bright and needy students access bursaries to further their education,” he added.

Dr. Mishra said education remains the only fundamental tool that broadens one’s opportunities in life.
“I am keen on ensuring that I support education and students in different capacities. My aim is to ensure that students get quality and not quantity education. If we want to change our society and the nation as a whole let’s embrace education,” he added.
