UASIN GISHU CONTINUES TO ATTRACT MORE INVESTORS AS GOVERNOR MANDAGO ASSURES HIS SUPPORT
The significant growth of Eldoret town under the leadership of Governor Jackson Mandago EGH has spured the economy of the residents of Uasin Gishu and attracted investors from across the globe.
Several multi-nationals have put their monies in the fastest growing town and which is strategically the gateway to the East African Community.
But its all thanks to the conducive working environment for business that Governor Jackson Mandago has created.
Speaking at his office when he hosted the top management team of Toyota Kenya, Governor Mandago lauded the team for the establishment of a branch in Eldoret town.
Apart from selling vehicles ,the company has also set up the Toyota Tsusho Fertilizer Plant in Eldoret, a company that blends fertilizer to meet specific soil conditions in North Rift.
“The beauty of the plant is their fertilizer which is crop and soil specific, our farmers have experienced increase in production because the fertilizer makes fertilizer for specific crops and soils,” said Mandago.
Recently, the county has seen a number of new businesses being established , many acknowledging the fast growth rate of the town which aspires to be a city.This has been enhanced by good working relationship between business people and the County Government.
The team was led by Simon Mwiti, General Manager Projects and Network Operations. The team leader said the launch of the Eldoret branch will be undertaken once Covid 19 measures are relaxed. He was flanked by Eldoret Branch Manager, Gilbert Chebii.
