Kapseret member of parliament Oscar Sudi now says if that One Kenya Alliance (OKA) will propose Kalonzo Musyoka or Gideon Moi to be their presidential candidate he will vie for the presidency.Through his official Facebook page Sudi said he is 100 percent sure that he will beat them all pants down.
“If OKA proposes Kalonzo Musyoka or Gideon Moi has its presidential candidate then I am ready to convince William Ruto to step down for me as UDA’s flag bearer. I am 100% sure that I will beat any of the two hands down. However much Kalonzo presents himself as a Senior Counsel but I know he is empty and has nothing to offer to Kenyans. In fact someone who has never seen a tarmac in Karamojong is far much better than Kalonzo,” said the Kapseret Member of Parliament through his official Facebook page.
Sudi is a staunch supporter of deputy president William Samoei Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid and he has promised to campaign for him until he clinches the presidency.
But his bid has been rubbished by the dynasties led by COTU secretary general Francis Atwoli and Jubilee party vice-chairman David Murathe who have termed him as corrupt and cannot be trusted with the country’s leadership.
His post received mixed reactions here are some of their comments.
Obano Geoffrey says “Sudi for sure if you will be UDA’s flag bearer and l vie as an independent candidate, there will be no need of IEBC to conduct elections coz l will be declared a winner a day before elections,”
Kasuki says “For one to run for presidency’, he or she must be an undergraduate from a recognized university, are you aware of this muhesh,”
Kevo Davy says “The only best you can do is to sing Ruto and UDA for you to be reelected. Oscar Kipchumba Sudi you’re just a minor to Kalonzo.. have you ever heard Kalonzo mention your name in any political gathering?? Represent kapseret people and leave Kalonzo for Kenyans,”
Evans Aseto “Are you aware that one of the qualifications for one to run for the presidency in Kenya is a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university??”
