Keiyo South MP Call for the Sacking of the Attorney General
Keiyo South member of parliament Daniel Rono has called for the sacking of the attorney general.
Speaking to the press in Eldoret town, Rono said this is after the attorney general misled president Uhuru Kenyatta on matters BBI.
“First of all I want to thank the Court of Appeal for ensuring that the BBI bill does not see the light of the day, this showed their independence. I am calling for the sacking of the attorney general for failing in his mandate as the chief legal advisor to the government he misadvised the president on the BBI issue,” said the Keiyo South member of parliament and deputy president will Ruto close ally.
“We will take a bill in parliament which will send him packing we will not stay mum while our president is being ashamed,”
He however faulted his move of taking the BBI appeal to the Supreme Court saying it’s a waste of time.
“We are not afraid of him going to supreme court but what he is doing is ashaming the president since if the High Court and the Court of appeal has thrown away the BBI nonsense what do you expect the Supreme Court will do.BBI will never see the light of the day ,” he added.
He called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to ensure that Kenyans live peacefully with one another during and after three 2022 general elections.
“We want to go call on our president to ensure that there is peaceful elections and should allow all Kenyans to seek for votes and Kenya do are the ones who will decide who their leader will be,” he added.

He called on Kenyans to support deputy president William Ruto’s presidential bid saying he is fit to take over from President Uhuru Kenyatta who is serving his second and last term in office.
“I want to call upon Kenyans to support DP Ruto’s presidential bid since he is the only candidate who is fit to take the Country forward economically since he is a hustler and knows what Kenyans are going through,” he said.
