Health Services County Executive Committee Member, Dr Abraham Serem on Thursday hosted officials from Academic Model Providing Access to Healthcare (AMPATH) led by AMPATH CEO Prof Sylvester Kimaiyo to discuss and deliberate on various areas of partnership that include HIV/AIDS.
Speaking during the discussions, Dr Serem noted that there is need to integrate non-communicable diseases with HIV management care to avoid loss of lives.
“The integration of non-communicable diseases with HIV management care will enhance the overall healthcare approach and contribute to better patient outcomes,”said Dr Serem.
