Kapseret Member of Parliament, Hon. Oscar Sudi, today brought festive cheer to his constituency as he engaged with young Kenyans, emphasizing the true spirit of Christmas. Sudi, who has long been an advocate for the youth, took the opportunity to interact with local learners, sharing not only valuable words of encouragement but also practical support.
In a heartwarming gesture, the MP donated textbooks to students, aiming to alleviate some of the challenges faced by learners in the area. The books will help strengthen education, a cause close to Sudi's heart, as he continues to push for better resources for schools within the constituency.
In addition to the educational support, Hon. Sudi also distributed meals to residents, ensuring that families in Kapseret could celebrate together, despite any economic hardships. “Christmas is a time for togetherness, love, and sharing. It’s a privilege to spend this time with you all, and I believe that by sharing these meals and textbooks, we are helping build a brighter future for our community,” Sudi said during his interaction.
The MP also used the occasion to reflect on the core message of the Christmas season—love, peace, and hope—urging all Kenyans, especially the youth, to remain focused on their dreams and ambitions as they look toward the new year.
"As we usher in 2024, let us remember that every small act of kindness can make a big difference. Education is the key to unlocking a better future, and together, we can ensure that our children have the tools they need to succeed," he added.
Hon. Sudi’s initiative is part of his broader efforts to support education, youth empowerment, and community development in Kapseret, as he continues to work towards a more prosperous future for his constituents.
The Christmas outreach program has been hailed as a timely and impactful gesture, providing both practical and moral support to the community, especially during a time when many families are grappling with economic difficulties.
