Cardinal Otunga Girls' High School has once again cemented its position as a leading academic institution after posting remarkable results in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). The school achieved a mean grade of 8.3641 (B-), with an impressive 95.63% transition rate to university.


The school's breakdown of grades highlights its academic prowess:

B+: 57


B: 101


B-: 146


C+: 75


C: 17


C-: 1


D+ to E: 0



Out of 412 candidates who sat for the exam, a staggering 394 students qualified for direct university entry, setting a new milestone for the institution. The school's strong academic culture, coupled with disciplined and motivated students, has drawn praise from parents, educators, and local leaders.


Senior Principal Christine N. Sifuna attributed the excellent performance to a combination of strategic teaching methods, relentless effort from her staff, and a committed Board of Management.
