Monitoring and Evaluation team from CICan visited TENP for an audit on Young Africa Works Kenya - YAWKe TVET programvisited the Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) for an audit of the Young Africa Works Kenya - TVET program. Launched in 2019, the program has introduced five Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET) programs across three departments at TENP.
Dr. Charles Koech, the Chief Principal of TENP, explained that the audit aims to identify gaps for improvement, collect data for learning, and provide recommendations on best practices for the program. The insights gathered will help shape future implementations of the project and ensure its continued success in enhancing technical and vocational education in Kenya.
The audit is expected to play a crucial role in refining the program's approach, optimizing its impact, and supporting the broader goals of the Young Africa Works initiative in empowering young people across the country.
