Held in Dubai, the event celebrated creativity, leadership, and global collaboration, with Kenyan students excelling in various categories through their innovative and impactful projects.

Onesmus Kimathi and his team clinched first place with their project EaseStay, a groundbreaking initiative leveraging AI to enhance accessibility, wellness, and personalized assistance for travelers. Diana Njoroge and her team secured second place with So-Low, an app designed to support solo travelers through features like language translation, secure bookings, and personalized recommendations. Abdalla Nasur earned the title of Top Future Leader Student 2025 for his exceptional engagement, creativity, and leadership throughout the competition.

In a special category, Kenyan students Mark Murugi and Dorice Morong collaborated with international peers to develop the Cultural Integration System (CIS), a platform aimed at preserving endangered cultures while connecting travelers with authentic local experiences.

The week-long challenge was more than just a competition—it was an enriching journey of learning and cultural exchange. Participants engaged in career workshops, developed innovative solutions in diverse teams, and enjoyed unforgettable experiences, including a thrilling desert safari and elegant networking dinners.

This event highlighted the importance of fostering global teamwork, creativity, and leadership in shaping the future of innovation and tourism. The outstanding performance of the Kenyan students underscores the country’s potential to lead on the global stage, inspiring young minds across the nation to pursue their dreams and make a lasting impact.
