Lavington’s Kettle House Bar and Grill Issued Noise Pollution Restoration Order

By John Kariuki

The Kettle House Bar and Grill, located on Muthangari Drive in Lavington, has been served by The National Environment Management Authority NEMA with a Restoration Order due to complaints from members of the public regarding excessive noise from the establishment.

The order requires the facility to submit key environmental compliance documents, including its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) license, an annual environmental audit, and evidence of noise pollution control measures within seven days of receiving the notice.

Additionally, the bar and grill has been directed to cease all operations that contribute to noise pollution until its compliance with environmental regulations is evaluated.

Authorities emphasized the need for establishments to prioritize the well-being of residents and adhere to environmental standards, noting that non-compliance would result in further action.

This move comes as part of broader efforts to address noise pollution in residential areas and ensure businesses operate responsibly and in harmony with their surroundings.
