Mang’u High School Receives Boeing 737-700 Donation

Mang’u High School has received a major boost for its aviation program with the donation of a Boeing 737-700 aircraft from Kenya Airways. The donation, made by the national carrier, aims to provide aviation students with hands-on training opportunities, enhancing their skills and knowledge for careers in the aviation industry.

The aircraft, which will be stationed at the school’s aviation training facility, is expected to give students practical experience in aircraft maintenance, operations, and safety procedures. The donation was made as part of Kenya Airways’ commitment to supporting educational initiatives and nurturing the next generation of aviation professionals.

“This donation will significantly improve the learning experience for our aviation students and help them gain practical skills that are critical in the aviation industry,” said Mang’u High School’s headteacher.

Kenya Airways also emphasized that the partnership is a step towards bridging the gap between theoretical learning and real-world application in the aviation sector. The school’s aviation department is now poised to offer students a rare opportunity to work on a real commercial aircraft.

The new addition is expected to attract more students to the school’s aviation program, as it underscores Mang’u High School’s commitment to providing quality education and practical experience in the fast-growing aviation industry.
