Oscar Sudi Confident President Ruto Will Serve Two Terms

Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, has expressed unwavering confidence that President William Ruto will serve his full two terms as the Head of State, dismissing any claims of political instability or uncertainty about his leadership.

Speaking on Sunday  Sudi rejected rumors suggesting that Ruto’s presidency could be short-lived, emphasizing that Kenya has never been led by a one-term president. He stated that the country’s political history will not be altered during Ruto's tenure.

"Wataruka juu chini lakini mambo itakuwa sawa. Sisi ni watu tunaheshimu katiba. Rais amebakisha miaka nane, afunge virago aende nyumbani mwingine atuongoze," Sudi remarked, which translates to "They may come and go, but everything will be fine. We respect the Constitution. The President has eight years left to serve, after which he will step aside for another leader to take over."

Sudi’s comments come amidst ongoing discussions and speculation about Kenya's political landscape, particularly in relation to President Ruto’s future. Despite these speculations, the MP was resolute in affirming that Ruto's commitment to the Constitution ensures his full two-term tenure, reinforcing the idea that political stability will prevail throughout the President’s time in office.
