In a significant step towards improving the quality of life for residents in the region, President William Ruto today broke ground for the KSh1.9 billion Moi's Bridge and Matunda Water and Sanitation Project. This ambitious initiative is set to benefit over 100,000 people across Uasin Gishu, Trans Nzoia, and Kakamega Counties.
The project, which is a key part of the government’s broader infrastructure development agenda, aims to improve access to clean water and enhance sanitation facilities in these counties, directly contributing to better health and livelihoods. The Moi's Bridge and Matunda Water and Sanitation Project is expected to be completed in phases, with the first phase focusing on the construction of water supply systems and modern sanitation facilities. Once completed, it will significantly reduce waterborne diseases and improve living conditions for residents in the targeted counties.
