Kapseret Member of Parliament, Hon. Oscar Sudi, has announced the much-anticipated visit of President William Ruto to the constituency on January 10th. The visit will see the President officially commission the Ngeria Technical Training Institute and inspect the ongoing progress at the Kimuri Dam, marking significant strides in the region’s development.
The Ngeria Technical Training Institute, which has been under construction for several years, will provide invaluable vocational training opportunities to thousands of young people in the area. The new institute is expected to play a crucial role in equipping students with the skills necessary to thrive in today’s competitive job market, aligning with the government's goal to enhance technical and vocational education and training (TVET).
“We are incredibly proud to welcome the President to Kapseret Constituency as he commissions the Ngeria Technical Training Institute. This is a major milestone for our community, and it speaks to the government’s unwavering commitment to the development of education and skills training in our region,” said Hon. Oscar Sudi.
The President will also inspect the ongoing works at Kimuri Dam, an essential infrastructure project designed to address water scarcity and improve agricultural productivity in the area. The dam, once completed, will provide a reliable water source for both domestic use and irrigation, thus boosting food security and the livelihoods of many local farmers.
"By commissioning the Ngeria Technical Training Institute and inspecting the Kimuri Dam, President Ruto’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to uplifting the livelihoods of local residents and promoting sustainable development. These initiatives will empower the youth and provide solutions to critical challenges facing our constituency,” added MP Sudi.
