President William Ruto swore in three newly appointed Cabinet Secretaries, underscoring the significant role they will play in advancing the government's Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.

The new Cabinet Secretaries, Mutahi Kagwe, Hon. William Kabogo Gitau, and Lee Kinyanjui, bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise that President Ruto believes will be instrumental in transforming the country and enhancing public service delivery.

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony, President Ruto expressed his confidence that the new appointees’ leadership skills and deep understanding of public service will accelerate progress across all sectors.

"These three leaders are well-versed in the dynamics of government and have demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout their careers. Their commitment to public service and their ability to drive transformation will ensure that we meet our goals of equitable development, improved livelihoods, and a stronger economy," said President Ruto.

The President emphasized that their wealth of experience, coupled with their unyielding dedication, will be critical as the government works towards achieving inclusive growth and empowering Kenyans at all levels. He further stated that the leadership of these seasoned public servants will be key in driving the administration's bottom-up economic approach, which aims to lift ordinary citizens through job creation, improved infrastructure, and access to better social services.

In his address, President Ruto urged the new Cabinet Secretaries to hit the ground running, reinforcing the need for a results-oriented approach in tackling the country’s most pressing challenges. He called on them to remain committed to the values of transparency, accountability, and service to the people, ensuring that all Kenyans benefit from the fruits of economic growth.

The President also thanked the outgoing Cabinet Secretaries for their dedication and service, acknowledging the significant contributions they made in their respective portfolios.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by various government officials, dignitaries, and senior members of the Cabinet, all of whom expressed their support for the new appointees as they take on their new responsibilities.
