The Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Rebecca Miano EGH, has announced the launch of the #MagicalKenya Mountain & Trail Series, an initiative aimed at showcasing Kenya's breathtaking landscapes while fostering fitness and wellness.
"We are thrilled to announce the launch of the #MagicalKenya Mountain & Trail Series—celebrating our hidden gems and stunning landscapes while promoting fitness and wellness," said Miano.
The series, set to commence in January 2025, will feature the Magical Kenya Trails & Tinderet Barngetuny Mountain Run 2025, traversing some of Kenya’s most picturesque counties, including Laikipia, Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet, Uasin Gishu, and Nandi.
The official flag-off will take place on January 14, 2025, in Nyahururu. This will be followed by the Taptengel Cultural Festival on January 17, 2025, and the Tinderet Barngetuny Mountain Run on January 18, 2025.
This exciting series promises to blend culture, adventure, and community, providing participants and spectators an opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and diversity of Kenya’s natural heritage.
