In a remarkable display of expert care, Becky Kirwa, a local resident, is on the road to full recovery after experiencing a life-threatening medical condition that caused severe and persistent headaches. After several attempts to manage the pain with painkillers and visiting other medical facilities with little success, Becky’s condition worsened, leading her and her husband, Jonah Kirwa, to seek help at Tophill Hospital Eldoret. Becky’s ordeal began when she started experiencing headaches that she initially thought were manageable with over-the-counter painkillers. This infection had caused inflammation in the brain, which was resulting in the severe headaches."
Becky’s condition required immediate treatment to reduce the pressure on her brain and combat the bacterial infection. Dr. Koech and his team prescribed a course of medication aimed at reducing the pressure and treating the infection. They monitored Becky closely, checking on her progress regularly. "We didn’t waste any time in starting her treatment. We needed to act quickly to prevent any further complications," Dr. Koech explained. "The medication worked to stabilize her condition, and after a few days, we saw a marked improvement."
Within days of receiving the right treatment, Becky’s symptoms began to subside. The severe headaches that had once seemed unbearable became a distant memory, and she was able to resume her normal activities. "I’m so grateful to Dr. Koech and the entire team at Tophill Hospital. They acted quickly and professionally, and thanks to their care, I’m now free of the pain that had consumed me for so long," Becky said, her voice filled with gratitude.
