Uasin Gishu’s Official Executive Residence Set to Be Completed in June

Uasin Gishu County is on track to complete its official executive residence for the Governor by June this year, a move aimed at curbing the ongoing costs of renting property. The Director of Housing, Ms. Beatrice Menjo, confirmed that construction is progressing steadily, with the residence designed to be both spacious and durable, ensuring its long-term utility for the county.

The new residence is a strategic initiative to reduce the county's rental expenditure, allowing these funds to be redirected toward other critical development projects. In addition to financial savings, the Governor’s new home will offer enhanced security and support a more efficient governance structure.

Residents of Uasin Gishu are optimistic that the completion of the residence will not only generate savings but also contribute positively to the county's overall growth and development. The project is seen as a significant step towards more sustainable and cost-effective management of county resources.
