The cleanup exercise was spearheaded by the Bungoma County Department of Environment in collaboration with the Kenya Red Cross Society and Evalbe Company Limited.
Kiboi lauded the partners for their support, noting that maintaining a clean environment is crucial for public health and economic growth.

The initiative aligns with Governor Kenneth Lusaka’s commitment to enhancing sanitation across Bungoma County.
Water, Environment, Tourism, Natural Resources, and Climate Change CECM Dr. Andrew Wamalwa has been instrumental in implementing measures to keep urban centers clean and free from disease outbreaks.
Evalbe Company Limited, a county service provider, deployed contracted staff and supplied essential tools for the cleanup effort.
