Buzeki Condemns Attack on Eldoret City Manager Tito Koiyet

A former gubernatorial aspirant for Uasin Gishu County Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki has strongly condemned the recent attack on Eldoret City Manager Tito Koiyet, describing it as a deeply disturbing act of violence with political undertones. The attack, which took place in broad daylight, saw Koiyet assaulted by a group of goons attempting to evict him from office, raising serious concerns about the rising use of violence in local politics.

Buzeki expressed shock and disappointment over the incident, calling for a united front against such acts of intimidation. "This senseless attack on Tito Koiyet is a clear example of how some individuals are willing to go to extreme lengths to impose their will and control local governance," the aspirant said. "It is an assault not only on one individual but on the very principles of democracy and the rule of law."

The former candidate stressed the importance of maintaining peace and order within the political space, urging leaders and voters alike to reject any form of violence. "We cannot allow ourselves to be governed by fear and intimidation. Our leadership should be based on vision, not violence," he added.

Koiyet's attack has prompted a wider conversation about the growing trend of political violence in the region. The former aspirant further called for authorities to investigate the incident thoroughly and bring the perpetrators to justice. "Those behind this barbaric act must face the full force of the law," he declared.

As the investigation unfolds, residents of Eldoret and political observers are calling for a shift toward more peaceful and visionary leadership. Many are looking to leaders who prioritize service to the public and reject any form of violence, stressing that the future of the region depends on choosing leaders who can unite and inspire, rather than divide and conquer through force.
