In preparation for the President’s upcoming Coast tour next week, Deputy Government Spokesperson Mwanaisha Chidzuga held a consultative meeting with Kwale County Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) at her office in Nairobi today.
During the meeting, Chidzuga and the MCAs discussed the progress of National Government projects and programs in Kwale County. They focused on strengthening partnerships between the county assembly and the government, particularly in areas such as the sensitization and registration of residents for the Taifa Care /SHA program, as well as promoting employment opportunities for the youth and improving education in the county.
Chidzuga commended the MCAs for their ongoing support of the national government, which has contributed significantly to the success of government projects at the grassroots level. She emphasized the importance of continued collaboration to ensure the well-being and development of Kwale residents.
"This continued partnership with the county assembly is crucial for the success of national programs. The MCAs’ support has been invaluable in driving government projects, ensuring they reach every corner of Kwale County," Chidzuga stated.
The meeting set the stage for further discussions ahead of the President’s visit, aimed at enhancing government programs and ensuring that Kwale County benefits from national initiatives.
