Emgwen Member of Parliament, Hon. Joses Lelmengit, today officially launched the Kamobo Chief’s Office, a modern five-roomed office block that promises to revolutionize local governance in the area. Funded by the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) for Emgwen, the facility is designed to enhance service delivery, offering a more efficient working environment for local administration and improving access to government services for residents.
Speaking at the launch, Hon. Lelmengit emphasized the importance of improving public service infrastructure as part of the county’s ongoing development agenda. “This new facility will not only improve the efficiency of local administration but will also ensure that the residents of Kamobo have better access to essential government services,” he said.
The modern office block, which includes spacious workspaces, is expected to significantly streamline operations at the chief’s office, benefiting the local population by reducing delays and improving the overall experience when seeking services.
“Strengthening local governance structures is at the heart of our vision for a more accessible and accountable government. By improving the infrastructure for service delivery, we empower our communities and ensure that government services are more accessible to all,” Hon. Lelmengit added.
The facility is strategically located to serve the residents of Kamobo, Kapsabet Ward, and is set to ease the workload of local administrators while fostering a more productive and professional environment. With this project, the MP reaffirmed his commitment to improving public service infrastructure across Emgwen, making sure that residents receive quality services close to their homes.
“We remain committed to strengthening local governance and improving public service infrastructure across Emgwen. This is just one of the many initiatives we are undertaking to ensure that our communities benefit from enhanced service delivery,” Hon. Lelmengit concluded.
