Interior CS Murkomen Bids Farewell to Principal Deputy to the Deputy Inspector General Kenya Police Service, Ms. Miriam Muli

 



This afternoon, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Interior, Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, bid a heartfelt farewell to Ms. Miriam Muli, the Principal Deputy to the Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service, who is retiring today after an illustrious 38-year career in the service.


Ms. Muli, a seasoned officer, played a pivotal role in training and capacity building within the police force, dedicating much of her career to the National Police College, Main Campus Kiganjo. Her work in shaping the future of the police force has left an indelible mark on the institution. Additionally, Ms. Muli was renowned for her excellence in personnel management, leaving behind a legacy of a highly skilled and cohesive team.


Speaking at the farewell event, CS Murkomen expressed deep gratitude for Ms. Muli's exceptional contributions to the Kenya Police Service. He commended her for her tireless commitment and selflessness over the years, noting that her wealth of experience and leadership would be sorely missed by the service.


"Ms. Muli has been an integral part of the police service, and her dedication to improving the force, particularly in training and personnel management, is a testament to her unwavering commitment to our nation's security. We will certainly miss her vast knowledge and expertise," said CS Murkomen.


The farewell ceremony was attended by the Deputy Inspector General of the Kenya Police Service, Mr. Eliud Lagat, who accompanied Ms. Muli on her final day of service.


As Ms. Muli embarks on the next chapter of her life, CS Murkomen wished her all the best in her future endeavors, acknowledging that her impact on the police service would continue to resonate for years to come.


"On behalf of the entire Ministry of Interior, I wish Ms. Muli the very best in her retirement. May her next journey be filled with success and fulfillment," Murkomen concluded.


Ms. Muli’s retirement marks the end of a distinguished career, but her legacy in the Kenya Police Service will undoubtedly endure.
