Men in Kenya Urged to Attend Men’s Conferences on Valentine’s Day, Return Home on Monday – Men Conference Chair Stephen Letoo

In a statement issued today, Men Conference Chair Stephen Letoo has called on all men across Kenya to leave their homes and attend Men’s Conferences being held in various locations. Letoo emphasized that this initiative is in light of the upcoming African Union Commission (AUC) vote, urging men to gather and participate in discussions focused on personal growth, leadership, and community building.

“Today, as we observe Valentine’s Day, I want to remind all men in Kenya that this is a unique opportunity for us to come together, reflect on our roles as fathers, husbands, and leaders, and engage in meaningful conversations at the Men’s Conferences. It’s important that we take time to improve ourselves and strengthen the bonds within our communities,” said Letoo.

Letoo reassured women that their husbands and fiancés would return home by Monday following the AUC vote and the completion of the Men’s Conference activities. “We understand the significance of Valentine’s Day, and while the conferences are crucial, we have made arrangements for all men to return to their families after the weekend,” he stated.

The Men’s Conferences are designed to provide a platform for open discussions on men’s issues, emotional well-being, and leadership in both personal and professional spaces. Letoo called for men to actively participate in the forums to learn and grow from one another, with the ultimate goal of returning home as more self-aware, engaged, and nurturing individuals.

“By attending these conferences, men will not only empower themselves but will also bring positive change to their homes and communities. We’re investing in personal development, which is crucial for building stronger, more supportive relationships,” Letoo added.

As Valentine’s Day celebrates love, Letoo encouraged men to use the time to reflect on the deeper aspects of love, responsibility, and the importance of personal and emotional growth. He also reassured women that this initiative is part of an ongoing effort to promote mutual respect and understanding between partners.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to all, and we look forward to seeing men return home on Monday with renewed purpose, stronger bonds, and a fresh outlook on their roles in the family,” Letoo concluded.

End of Story.
