Kapseret Member of Parliament, Oscar Sudi, has called for unity and rejected divisive politics that seek to exploit tribal differences. In a statement made recently, Sudi emphasized that tribalism has no place in Kenya’s modern society and urged citizens to stay alert against leaders who manipulate facts to create division along ethnic lines.
Sudi stressed that true leadership should be founded on competence, integrity, and the delivery of tangible results. “In today’s Kenya, truthful leadership is one that focuses on the betterment of all citizens, not one that thrives on manipulating facts to serve narrow, divisive agendas,” he said.
The MP's remarks come amidst increasing political polarization, with some politicians accused of using tribal sentiments to gain support. Sudi urged Kenyans to reject these leaders, emphasizing that such tactics undermine the country’s unity and progress.
“We must remain vigilant and firmly reject any leader or group that seeks to divide us based on tribe. Kenya’s strength lies in its diversity, and we must continue to build a united, peaceful nation that is focused on progress and development,” Sudi added.
His call for unity resonates with the need for a more inclusive political environment, where leadership is defined by accountability, fairness, and the advancement of all communities. Sudi’s message serves as a timely reminder that the future of Kenya depends on rejecting divisiveness and embracing a leadership that puts the welfare of every Kenyan at the forefront.
As Kenya continues to evolve, leaders like Sudi are calling for a shift towards more collaborative and progressive politics, where unity and truthfulness are prioritized over tribal loyalties.
