Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has strongly condemned the celebration of opposition leader Raila Odinga’s defeat in the recent African Union Commission (AUC) chair elections. In a passionate statement following Odinga’s loss, Sudi expressed his disappointment in those who took joy in the defeat, emphasizing that the competition was not between individuals but between Kenya and another country.
"I saw some people celebrating the loss of one of our own just because of personal hatred," Sudi said. "This doesn't beat logic. It was a competition between our country and another, and yet some people chose to focus on personal vendettas."
