President Ruto Mourns the Passing of Mzee Kingi Mwaruwa

 



Nairobi, Kenya – President William Ruto has extended his heartfelt condolences to Senate Speaker Amason Kingi following the passing of his father, Mzee Kingi Mwaruwa.

In a message of sympathy, President Ruto described the late Mzee Mwaruwa as a respected, progressive, and hardworking man whose contributions to his family and the community will be remembered.

“Our condolences to the Speaker of the Senate for the loss of his dear father, Mzee Kingi Mwaruwa. He was respected, progressive, and hardworking,” President Ruto stated.

The Head of State further assured Speaker Kingi, his family, and the people of Kilifi of his support and prayers during this moment of grief.

“Mheshimiwa Amason Kingi, the family, and the people of Kilifi are in our prayers during this difficult time,” he added.

Mzee Kingi Mwaruwa’s passing has been met with deep sorrow from leaders across the country, with many recognizing his role in shaping the values and leadership of his son, Speaker Kingi.

As Kilifi County mourns the loss of one of its distinguished elders, messages of comfort continue to pour in from political leaders, friends, and the larger Kenyan community.

“Rest in Peace, Mzee Kingi Mwaruwa,” President Ruto concluded.
