President William Ruto has expressed his deepest condolences following the passing of Johnson Nzioka, a distinguished educationist and staunch advocate for the welfare of head teachers in Kenya. In a statement issued today, President Ruto described Nzioka as a visionary leader who dedicated his life to improving education and shaping the future of young Kenyans.
"Johnson Nzioka was not only a dedicated educator but also a mentor who tirelessly worked to groom upright and industrious students. His contribution to the education sector, particularly in advocating for the welfare of head teachers, will be remembered for generations," President Ruto said.
Nzioka’s work in the education sector left a lasting impact on the lives of many, particularly in the development of leadership within primary schools. His tireless advocacy ensured that head teachers were equipped with the necessary tools and resources to lead effectively, creating a strong foundation for educational excellence across the country.
President Ruto extended his heartfelt sympathy to Nzioka's family and the Kenya Primary Schools Heads Association (KPSHA) fraternity, which has lost a valued member and leader. We mourn with you, and we share in the loss of a great man who devoted his life to building a brighter future for our children," the President added.
