Radio Legend Leonard Mambo Mbotela to Be Buried at Lang'ata Cemetery

 









 The late Leonard Mambo Mbotela, a beloved radio legend and iconic voice of Kenya, will be laid to rest on Saturday, February 15th, at Lang'ata Cemetery in Nairobi. According to his family, it was Mbotela's expressed wish to be buried at Lang'ata, a final resting place that holds special significance for the family.

Mbotela, who passed away at the age of 78, was widely celebrated for his decades-long contribution to Kenyan radio. He was known for his unique voice, warmth, and insightful commentary, which made him a household name. His passing has left a deep void in the hearts of many Kenyans who grew up listening to his broadcasts.

In an official statement, the family announced that the funeral will take place on Saturday at Lang'ata Cemetery, with preparations already underway for the ceremony. They expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support and love from the public and Mbotela's fans.
