Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua hosted members of the Jubilee Party leadership team from Nairobi County at his Wamunyoro Residence on the evening of January 31, 2025. The meeting brought together key party members who discussed the future direction of the party and the evolving political landscape in Nairobi.
The gathering, which was attended by a mix of Jubilee Party officials, including Stanley Kamore (Starehe), Boniface Thuo Ngige (Embakasi Central), Francis Njoroge (Roysambu), Stephen Ndungi (Dangoretti North), Samson Muiruri (Westlands), Francis Mahia (Kibra), Joseph Mathenge (Lang'ata), Anthony Waithaka (Kamukunji), Josphat Kimani (Embakasi North), Eric Mugambi (Embakasi East), Moses Maina (Kasarani), Peter Kamande (Embakasi West), Gikonyo (Embakasi South), George Kamau (Dagoretti South), David Mungai (Mathare), and Joseph Wainaina (Makadara), focused on the shared history of the party, particularly during Gachagua's time as Mathira MP and a key member of the Jubilee Party.
The discussions also covered the lessons learned in party politics, especially in cosmopolitan counties like Nairobi, which face unique challenges. The team emphasized the importance of unity within the party, particularly as it prepares for critical political engagements in the coming months.
In a statement, Gachagua expressed appreciation for the continued dedication and leadership shown by the Jubilee Party officials. He commended them for their efforts in shaping Nairobi County's political future and for their commitment to party ideals and service to the people.
