A delegation from the Research and Innovation Advisory Team (RIAT) visited the Technical Education and National Polytechnic (TENP) for a benchmarking exercise yesterday, marking an important step towards fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange between the two institutions. The RIAT team, led by Madam Lynete Odhiambo’s Deputy Principal for Administration (2nd right), was accompanied by Procurement and HR officers.
The team was warmly hosted by Mr. Meres, Deputy Principal for Administration (DP Admin), Mr. Sang, Finance Officer (F.O.), and Mr. Eliud, Deputy Human Resource Officer (DHRO), who took them on a tour of the campus facilities.
In the spirit of mutual learning, the visit included a courtesy call to the Chief Principal Dr Charles Koech, further solidifying the partnership between the two institutions.
Dr Koech said the visit focused on sharing best practices, exploring opportunities for future collaboration, and learning from each other's experiences to enhance growth and development.
"This collaborative initiative is expected to foster stronger ties between RIAT and TENP, providing both teams with valuable insights and ideas that will drive future growth and innovation," he said.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both institutions expressing their commitment to strengthening this partnership for the benefit of all stakeholders involved.
