Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), under the leadership of President Dr. Erick Rutto, Vice President Mustafa Ramadhan, and CEO Ahmed Farah, HSC, today welcomed a high-level delegation from the Federation of Saudi Chambers at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for a courtesy visit.
This two days delegation is led by Chairman Bani Huwayz and Hassan Mujib H, investment and trade mission, marking a significant step in strengthening trade and economic ties between the two nations. This visit underscores KNCCI’s central role in fostering international partnerships and creating opportunities for Kenyan businesses in global markets.
The KNCCI, as the premier business membership organization in Kenya, has been instrumental in promoting trade, investment, and business linkages between local enterprises and international markets. The engagement with the Federation of Saudi Chambers aligns with the Chamber’s ongoing efforts to attract foreign investment, open new trade avenues, and enhance economic cooperation. The presence of Principal Secretary for Trade and Investment, Abubakar Hassan, and Kenyan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Amb. Mohamed Ramadhan Ruwange, at the meeting further highlighted the Kenyan government’s support in strengthening bilateral trade relations with Saudi Arabia.
In this two-day mission, KNCCI and the Saudi delegation will engage in high-level discussions, business forums, and networking sessions, focusing on sectors such as agriculture, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and technology. These engagements aim to unlock new investment opportunities, strengthen trade linkages, and promote knowledge exchange between Kenyan and Saudi business communities.
KNCCI’s commitment to expanding market access for Kenyan businesses remains a top priority. Through strategic partnerships with international chambers such as the Federation of Saudi Chambers, the Chamber is working to position Kenya as a key trade and investment hub in the region. As the Saudi delegation embarks on its investment tour, KNCCI is optimistic that this engagement will lead to increased trade volumes, joint ventures, and long-term investment agreements, benefiting businesses and boosting economic growth in Kenya.
