Turbo Member of Parliament Janet Sitienei Rotich has expressed her anger over what she described as an inappropriate claim of ownership of school projects by President William Ruto’s personal aide, Farouk Kibet. In a strong-worded statement, Rotich accused Kibet of taking credit for school development projects that were initiated and executed by the Ministry of Education through her office.
In her remarks, Rotich labeled Kibet’s actions as uncalled for, emphasizing that his move undermines the hard work of the Ministry and the collaboration between various government offices. “Stay in your lane! Don’t take my humility for weakness!” Rotich said, clearly frustrated by what she sees as an overstep by Kibet.
The heated exchange has raised eyebrows across political circles, with many wondering whether the incident signals a deeper rift between government officials or if it is a misunderstanding that will soon be cleared. Kibet has not yet responded to Rotich's comments, but his actions have sparked controversy, particularly in the context of the ongoing political landscape.
