Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii, together with His Excellency President William Samoei Ruto, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, and other distinguished leaders, gathered today in Kilifi County to celebrate the life of the late Mzee Mwaruwa Mkweha. Mzee Mkweha, a revered elder and father of Senate Speaker Hon. Amason Kingi, was remembered for his unwavering commitment to community welfare and his wise counsel.
Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Jonathan Bii highlighted Mzee Mkweha’s legacy as a pillar of wisdom who dedicated his life to ensuring the preservation of community resources. He acknowledged the impact Mzee Mkweha had on the region and the nation, noting that his leadership went beyond local boundaries, offering advice that shaped many key decisions at both the grassroots and national levels.
