UDA Nominated Member of Parliament, Joseph Wainaina, has called on the people of Moi’s Bridge to unite as one community, despite their diverse tribal backgrounds. Speaking on February 2nd during a fundraising event for victims of a recent fire, Wainaina emphasized the importance of peace and development for the area.
"We want development here, and the whole community should be one. We don't want chaos; we want progress," Wainaina told attendees. His remarks came after a devastating gas explosion in Moi's Bridge on January 18th destroyed more than 50 shops and caused millions of shillings in damages.
Wainaina, who was recently in Nyeri with Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, pointed out the contrast between Nyeri's development and the situation in Moi's Bridge, urging the community to work together for a better future. "In Nyeri, everything is fine
