Eid Mubarak: Nandi Governor Stephen Sang Celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr with the Muslim Community at Jamia Mosque, Kaptumo



 As the holy month of Ramadan comes to a close, Nandi Governor Stephen Sang joined the Muslim community in Aldai Constituency to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, a moment of joy, unity, and gratitude. The Governor marked this auspicious occasion with prayers and reflections at the Jamia Mosque in Kaptumo, where he expressed his heartfelt wishes to all Muslims celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr.

Governor Sang took the opportunity to reflect on the significance of Ramadan, emphasizing its deep spiritual importance as a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and self-discipline. "As we come together to celebrate the end of this blessed month, let us remember the values of compassion, unity, and gratitude," he said. "These principles are essential in building stronger communities and promoting peace among all."

The Governor’s presence at the Jamia Mosque was a gesture of solidarity with the Muslim community, recognizing the enduring role of faith in shaping lives and fostering unity across Nandi County. He also extended his warm wishes for prosperity and peace to all families, reaffirming the County’s commitment to supporting religious tolerance, mutual respect, and social cohesion.

“May Allah continue to bless you all with peace, joy, and prosperity,” Governor Sang added in his message, invoking the spirit of Eid as an occasion for forgiveness and renewal.

During the celebrations, local leaders and community members expressed their gratitude for the Governor's support in fostering interfaith dialogue and unity, noting the importance of coming together to celebrate shared values and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.

Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, is a time for Muslims to gather in gratitude, exchange gifts, and give thanks for the strength and patience shown during the month of fasting.
