There is a wave of excitement at Kilima Primary School as a water drilling project kicks off, bringing hope to students, teachers, and the surrounding community. The much-anticipated project is set to provide a reliable and clean water source, easing the longstanding water challenges in the area.
Moisbridge Ward MCA Patrick Kimeli expressed his gratitude for the progress, noting that 12 engineers are already on the ground, working tirelessly to ensure the success of the drilling process.
"This project is a game-changer for Kilima Primary School and the entire community. Access to clean water is essential for education, hygiene, and daily life. We are committed to ensuring that our schools and villages have sustainable water solutions," said MCA Kimeli.
The initiative has been met with joy and optimism, as teachers and students look forward to improved sanitation, enhanced learning conditions, and relief from the burden of fetching water from distant sources.
MCA Kimeli also extended special thanks to Father Douglas for offering prayers and blessings at the site, emphasizing the importance of both spiritual and community support in development projects.
The water drilling project aligns with the county’s broader agenda of enhancing access to clean water and improving infrastructure in schools and communities. Once complete, the borehole will serve not only the school but also nearby households, further boosting the quality of life in Moisbridge Ward.
Residents and stakeholders have lauded the initiative, describing it as a milestone in local development. The community now eagerly awaits the completion of the project, which will mark a significant step toward water security and sustainable growth.
