Inject Party Leader Morara Kebaso Meets Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to Discuss Key National Issues

Inject Party leader Morara Kebaso held a pivotal meeting with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua this week to discuss a range of pressing national issues, including political reforms, youth unemployment, economic exclusion, and human rights abuses. The meeting, which took place in Nairobi, provided a platform for both leaders to exchange ideas on how to address the challenges facing Kenya today.

During their conversation, Kebaso and Gachagua delved into the current political environment in Kenya, agreeing that meaningful reforms are crucial for ensuring a more inclusive and just society. One of the key topics of discussion was the alarming rates of youth unemployment and the economic exclusion that many young Kenyans continue to face. Kebaso stressed the need for targeted policies that focus on job creation, empowerment programs, and greater economic opportunities for the youth.

“We cannot talk about national progress without addressing the plight of our young people. Their voice, energy, and ideas must be at the center of the national agenda,” Kebaso emphasized during the meeting.

Another major topic of conversation was the ongoing concerns over police brutality, abductions, and extrajudicial killings. Both leaders agreed that the government must take immediate action to ensure justice for victims and to hold perpetrators accountable. Kebaso called for systemic changes in law enforcement and urged the government to establish clear mechanisms for investigating human rights abuses.

“There can be no real peace or progress in Kenya if we allow these injustices to continue unchecked. We need to restore the rule of law and ensure that every Kenyan, especially the youth, can trust the systems in place,” said Kebaso.

Kebaso reaffirmed his commitment to amplifying the voices of young people across the country, noting that he will continue to engage with political, religious, and civil society leaders to push for reforms that prioritize the needs of Kenya's youth.

The meeting has been described as a significant step in building bridges between political leaders from different backgrounds in the search for common ground on these critical issues. Both Kebaso and Gachagua expressed hope that their discussion would spark further conversations aimed at addressing the most urgent challenges facing the nation.

Kebaso concluded the meeting by reiterating his belief in the power of collaboration and dialogue in shaping Kenya’s future.

“Together, we can build a Kenya that is fair, just, and offers opportunities for all,” he said.

As both leaders continue their efforts to engage in national conversations about reform, all eyes will be on the potential impact their collaboration may have on shaping policies that prioritize justice, equity, and youth empowerment.
