Kenya National Police DT SACCO National Chairman, Mr. David Mategwa (OGW, HSC, DSA, ICUDE), has reaffirmed the SACCO’s commitment to education by recognizing and rewarding top-performing students from Utumishi Boys Academy and Utumishi Girls Academy in the 2024 KCSE examinations.
Leading from the front, Mr. Mategwa, accompanied by National Vice Chairman, Mr. David Kangogo, and GM Finance & Banking, Mr. Moses Manyuanda, presented eight laptops and 44 tablets to the Principal of Utumishi Boys Academy, Dr. Maina Gitonga, as a token of appreciation for the students' remarkable achievements.
Utumishi Boys Academy produced an impressive eight A students and 40 A- students, while Utumishi Girls Academy celebrated four A- students, a testament to their dedication, discipline, and resilience. Their outstanding performance reflects the power of hard work, the support of their teachers, and the guidance of their parents, all of whom have played a crucial role in their success.
Speaking during the presentation, Mr. Mategwa praised the students for their determination and perseverance, emphasizing that education is a key pillar of national development. He reiterated the SACCO’s commitment to empowering young minds by equipping them with the tools they need to excel in their academic and professional journeys.
