A team from Kiambu National Polytechnic, led by their Deputy Principal of Administration, paid a visit to Technical University of East Africa (TENP) on Friday, 14th March 2025, to benchmark best management practices. This visit was of particular importance as Kiambu National Polytechnic recently achieved the status of a National Polytechnic.
The exchange aimed at fostering knowledge-sharing between the institutions, with a particular focus on Top Management strategies. As both institutions work towards enhancing academic excellence and improving administrative efficiency, this meeting provided a valuable opportunity to share insights, discuss leadership approaches, and collaborate on future developments.
The visiting team was warmly received by the Chief Principal of TENP, Dr. Charles Koech, OGW, alongside Deputy Principal of Administration Emmanuel Meres, Deputy Principal of Academics Peninah Ogutu, and other key staff members.
During the visit, both parties explored key areas of academic and administrative leadership, discussing how to improve governance structures and promote overall institutional growth. The discussions highlighted the importance of leadership development as both institutions transition to a higher level of academic and administrative capacity.
