Kimeli’s heartfelt tribute comes as he shares the positive impact that Sudi’s leadership and contributions have had on the community, highlighting the MP’s deep commitment to helping those in need.
In an emotional message, Kimeli explained how, despite facing his own challenges, Oscar Sudi has always shown a remarkable ability to empathize with others, using his success to uplift and support people in difficult times. He recalled a recent tragedy in Moisbridge, where fire ravaged homes and businesses, leaving many residents homeless and without essential property.
“When the fire hit, it was a moment of great loss for many in Moisbridge. Different communities, including several tribes, suffered immense damage, and it seemed like there was no hope for a quick recovery,” Kimeli said. “But when we reached out to Oscar Sudi, he did not hesitate to stand with us. He came to Moisbridge, bringing together contributions from his friends, including President William Ruto, and within a short time, we had raised over ten million shillings to help rebuild what was lost.”
Kimeli emphasized that Sudi’s approach to leadership goes beyond just offering financial support; it is about being present, humble, and actively involved in the struggles of the people. He noted that Sudi’s humble nature and dedication to service make him a rare and invaluable leader, one who truly understands the struggles of ordinary citizens.
“We in Moisbridge Ward hold Oscar Sudi in high regard,” Kimeli continued. “He is a person who goes everywhere, even to the most remote places, to ensure that no one is left behind. His heart is big, and his actions speak louder than words. We are forever grateful for his kindness, and we continue to pray that God blesses him abundantly.”
As a leader who has seen the positive impact of Sudi’s work firsthand, Kimeli also made an impassioned appeal to the people of Kapseret: “When the time comes, and Oscar finishes his work in Kapseret, we would love to have him represent us in Soy Constituency. It is not easy to find a leader like him—someone who is humble, generous, and truly committed to the well-being of the people.”
