The late Elvis Murakana, son of Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi, will be laid to rest on Saturday following a memorial service in his honor.
A service will be held at Holy Trinity Church, Kileleshwa, on Friday, March 28, starting at 10 a.m., where family, friends, and leaders are expected to gather to pay their final respects.
Elvis, who was a Business Studies student at Africa Nazarene University, was awaiting his graduation in June 2025 at the time of his passing. His untimely death has left his family, friends, and colleagues in deep sorrow.
The cause of his death has not been publicly disclosed. However, messages of condolence have continued to pour in from leaders, fellow students, and members of the public, expressing their sympathy and support for the bereaved family.
Elachi, a former Nairobi County Assembly Speaker, has yet to make a public statement but has received an outpouring of support from colleagues in the political sphere.
Details of the burial ceremony, including the location, are expected to be shared in due course.
