Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) participated in this year's Eldoret Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) National Show by providing: emergency medical services, blood collection services, Social Health Insurance registration as well as a free wellness clinic.
MTRH was ranked the Best Stand in Embracing Information Technology & Communication Systems and the Best Display and Services in Health Sector & Pharmaceuticals Stand.
Additionally, the Hospital was ranked 2nd best stand in interpretation of 2025 ASK Show theme and 3rd best stand in Research & Development.
The first award was based on successful implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/ Electronic Medical Records System (EMRS) complete with clinical, procurement, and administrative end -to-end modules used across the Hospital. This was supplemented by the display of online bookings and consultations via telemedicine.
The CEO Dr. Philip Kirwa received the trophies from the Chief Guest, Dr. Paul Kipronoh Ronoh, Principal Secretary for Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, who also toured the MTRH stand.
The Eldoret National ASK Show exhibition ran from 5th March and concluded today 8th March, 2025. It attracted hundreds of exhibitors showcasing their services and products from across Kenya.
